I have the GA-z270MX Gaming 5. I can get to the apple logo with progress bar, about 1/2 way through I get this error message (attached image) and the computer restarts. I used the config.plist from this thread.

I changed some settings in the BIOS and now I am on the install screen.
Are you having any issues with the Ethernet port? Mine keeps getting cut off. And if I disconnect the cable, the computer restarts.

I cannot get my Ethernet port to show up at all. I had to use a USB hub with a gigabit Ethernet port in order to get an Internet connection.
Hi Brad, can you post the plist? I also used the one from tricky and cant get it to work

I'm honestly not sure where the config.plist is located. I installed the EFI mounter v3 onto the new hackintosh, but I keep getting an AppleEvent handler failed. I'm not sure where to modify the config.plist. I really need to do this because right now I have to enter the FakeCPUID into the Clover Boot binaries section every time I restart the computer.

Sorry, I figured out why I could not mount the EFI it was becuase I was in safe mode. I had to use Safe Mode because I added some options from Multibeast that prevented me from booting without safe mode. I do notice that the FAKECPUID is not in my config.plist. I will update it with the one listed in this thread earlier and let you know what happens.

Any progress on that Ethernet port? Mine sometimes works but it just stops working. And when I unplug the Ethernet cable from the computer, it freezes and restarts. Im using the AppleIGP.kext.
