Hi @VoiletDragon Thanks so much for the info. I downloaded SSDT-SATA.aml but I can't seem to be able to open/edit it with my MaciASL application for my 100 series gigabyte board. Can I just edit it via TextEdit? I'm not sure. If not too much trouble, can you send me the 100 series compatible SSDT-SATA.aml file? Thank you so much & sorry for asking again.

I have the same problem with the SSDT-LPC.aml file that can't be opened, but I think I don't need to change anything for it, while keeping the _DSM to XDSM patch.

After that, I think I should be good with SSDT patches/kexts like you said :) hopefully.

Attach ioreg you're device maybe already added. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg | tonymacx86.com

Here is my IOREG @VoiletDragon . I am temporarily using your updated SSDT-SATA.aml for 9 series, as well as the new SSDT-LPC.aml. Even with this 9 series kext, Power Gadget now is back up & working on my z170x Gaming 7 board.

Thanks for giving me the 100 series equivalent file(s) for these two.

I have added Skylake Device ID to my SSDT-LPC. Intel Power Gadget should be working on both Series 9 and Series 100 anyway although SSDT-SATA is only for Series 9. Easy enough to fix tho. Ioreg looks fine. By the looks of it you've modified SSDT-SATA already?

I see, thank you. I used your latest SSDT-SATA.aml from your GitHub, but it still says in IOREG that the model is "Intel 9 Series Chipset Family SATA Controller" (even tho now SATA is correct (not SAT0) in IOREG). Can you send me the Intel 100 series chipset version? I don't know how to change it as I can't open the file via MaciASL.

Thank you so much.

Attach Clover folder from EFI removing themes ZIP attach. Which kext are you referring to in post #82?

Here is the CLOVER. I was referring to your updated SSDT-SATA.aml patch. Intel Power Gadget was broken before even with the updated SSDT-LPC.aml & I needed to use your new SATA patch to get it working again, though this SATA patch was for 9 series only. Thank you for giving me the SSDT-SATA.aml patch for my 100 series board.

Here is my new IOREG with the new SSDT-SATA.aml file you gave me. I can see the 100 series now, yoo-hoo! Thank you.

My wake from sleep still does not work properly (frozen display after wake, Keyboard & Mouse don't respond). At least, I think my USB is now all working fine & SATA, LPC is good too. What do you think? Thank you again for all your help!

Ioreg shows Intel Series 100 Series. Looks fine to me.
