Skylake Intel HD 530 Graphics Glitch Fix

Thanks! I got help from CorpNewt et al to fix the main graphics glitch. Now I only see a graphics problem in Safari tabs. That, plus my ancient Cinema Display is stretched at an odd resolution and I can't select anything else.

Also the App Store is now 0:2 for working. But I haven't even started to investigate that fix.

The wild and weird thing is that iCloud and Messages just worked. No problem at all.

Hi. I edited the config.plist file with clover configurator, adding dates of devices and forced intel inject. I tried both ig platform (0x19120000 and 0x191B0000) but nothing to do, do not it work. After reboot my hackintosh have a KP. Can someone help me? Thanks...

you need to fill out your profile and not use "x"

Your DVMT-prealloc setting in BIOS is probably wrong. Must be 64mb+.

RehabMan I have my intel HD 530 perfectly working in Sierra, with ig platform id 0x19120000. But I use it via DisplayPort in 4k (on 27"), and I can't select HiDPI resolution higher than 1080p (that is way too big). And 2160p works but it's way too small.
I applied the CoreDisplay patch but no luck, I followed your guide for custom HiDPI resolution but no luck.

A guy said that he changed the ig-platform-id from 0x19120000 to 0x19260002 (that maps to Intel HD 540), and he got it to work, but when I do so, I get no video output at 1/4 of the progress bar.
Do you know any trick?

I have no 4k hardware...

it may help for you to have your profile sorted out, this way if someone knew what hardware you had, they may be able to assist
