If the correct folder to put the drivers is drivers64, then neither HFSPlus.efi or VBoxHfs-64.efi did the trick. Still unable to see the installation media as a boot drive in clover.

What version of Clover.
Since Clover legacy is not used by many, it may be broken.
You should examine your preboot.log (misc/preboot.log is created when you press F2).

Still unable to boot into the installer. Would really appreciate help from anyone who have this same laptop model with the i5 6300HQ processor and was able to boot the installer. Could you guys please attach the EFI folder and advise what did the trick to be able to boot?

Yes, it's the same laptop, however I have followed that guide to the T and am unable to boot the installer. It seems that there is a slight difference between the i5 and i7 variants of that same hardware. I saw a lot of people reporting they couldn't boot the installer on the i5.

Hey there!
just wanted to share my frustation with you :V
im also stucked at the same place like you

Did you configure SMBIOS/Memory properties correctly?

Still no progress on my side... I am waiting on the additional memory module that I have purchased to arrive and will report back once I try with it.

Read post #26. Make sure config.plist/SMBIOS/Memory represents the physical memory configuration.

Rehabman,

I don't see a 'Memory' key in the SMBIOS section of the config.plist provided in the guide. Should I add it manually? And if so, what unit should I use? KB, MB or GB? Is there a guide on how to correctly use it?

Attached is the config.plist I am currently using.

Thanks!
