i could boot up with sierra
but couldnt detect ssd

It won't be detected unless you have the proper kext. The one included in my clover.zip only works with 10.11.6, you need to patch it yourself for Sierra. Then the SSD will work.

What kind of SSD is installed?

13" model is a M.2 NVMe SSD. 12,5" is M.2 SATA and probably doesn't need that patch.

M.2 SATA will probably need SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext (as per my Clover guide).
M.2 NVMe, see FAQ.

Hi all,

I've been following this topic for a while, i'm the lucky owner of Mi notebook Air 13" (as many of you here :p) and my plan when i bought this computer was to turn it into a mac. Unfortunately i opened my brand new laptop (bought on gearbest) and found that the M2 wifi slot is missing !!!!!

Does anyone share my problem ? do you have any clue of what i can do about it ?

Thanks for your work here guys !

It's not a m.2 slot for the wifi. It is a slot for WWAN (3G LTE modems).
For wifi m.2 key A or/and E, this slot with the key B.

Does anybody have working solution for touchpad in Xiaomi Air 12? I have tried VoodooI2C with DSDT patches (win8/10, INT3442\INT2443), but it still panics on boot and said "cant load i2c setting from ACPI".
Monster1024, which kexts and Clover config.plist did you use to get the 12 to install? Using either RehabMans HD520 config or the one used for the Mi 13 results in a kernel panic and reboot for me.

Ok, understood, thanks for the clear explanations!
We still agree that they forgot something in my computer right ? Even if i wouldn't use it anyway.

Have a nice day.

Did you set DVMT-prealloc as required? (see FAQ)
