I am just asking about this FakeSMC issue that keeps popping up when I run your script

Not related. Not the script. Same for 10.11 and 10.12:

Thanks toleda for your help. I made several attempts without success including the clover and Multibeast. I chose to format the drive and make new installation. To have no more stress, I installed the kext voodooHDA 2.8.9 that always works flawlessly with my ALC1150.

What does that mean? Why would I get the FakeSMC error message when the script is running? There has to be related cause.

P.S. I can see in the System Report that the onboard audio is working. It is listed. It is identical to the El Capitan. But it doesn't show up as an option in the Sound dialog box.

EAPD problem, use black or orange or see RehabMan/EAPD-Codec-Commander

Installed View attachment CodecCommander.kext.zip CodecCommander.kext for ALC1150 from tigersoul925 to System/Library/Extensions using KextBeast and the sound totally came to life from the green port. Thanks for all your efforts here and for replying. I plan to make a full guide for Hackintosh Sierra on ASUS Z170-Deluxe.

X99 requires an additional patch, not available in MultiBeast.

Still no audio devices clean sierra install and multibeast 9..
audio_codecdetect_v2.0 says no codec
