I've just tried to upgrade from my old bluetooth dongle to the AzureWave BCM94352HMB and have installed the FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, FakePCIID.kext and the BrcmPatchRAM.kext. I followed instructions on tonymac, though I was unable to find my own bluetooth information within System Report as the Bluetooth tab is just marked as "No information found." Though I did find another user with the same wifi card as me who uploaded the modified BrcmPatchedRam.kext which I used (this is probably why bluetooth isn't working as the file might not be right for me).

I'm basically wanting to know if I've missed a kext install or what I need to do to actually obtain the information from the System Report... I've seen other users saying something about linking a repo kext bust I cant find a download for this and don't know if I actually need it. For now I'll continue on with my dongle, but am very keen to move onto the AzureWave Bluetooth.

Seems like you're missing the BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, which can be found at -
https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-brcmpatchram/downloads

Basically, you need to use FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext. Install all these in your System/Library/Extensions using a kext installer.

Do you see BCM20702A0 in your USB Hub? (System Report-> USB). If not, you have a USB problem.
See - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/

On a side note, I want to mention that for my Bluetooth to work on my Acer laptop,
I had to tape pin #51 otherwise it would not recognize Bluetooth in either OSX or Win10.

Post an IOReg if possible, I can take a look at it and see exactly what's going on.

The system report does show BCM20702A0 under USB so thankfully no issues there. I really had hopes that the repo kext would fix the issue haha but it's still not working. I have also now noticed that my bluetooth dongle doesn't seem to pair any more either, it brings back the bluetooth icon in the menu bar, but doesn't do much more than that... I've attached the IOReg for you to look through, let me know if you need anything else haha, thanks for your quick response

Update:
I've just noticed the BrcmPatchRAM kext I downloaded was for a BCM20702A3 not A0. I just downloaded the standard one from the instructions and now it works... I must have made things unnecessarily more difficult for myself haha. Thanks again for your help.

I'm glad you don't have the USB issue.
You're welcome, good luck!

I have another question about this wifi card. I'm struggling to change the country code as it is set to XT at the moment, while the other computers in the house are set to DE. I've tried to follow the instructions here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.104850/
but still cannot figure out what I'm meant to be doing. The only reason I want to do this is because my internet is stuck at 5mbps at the moment and a few days ago I read somewhere that the country code has something to do with this. Are you able to help me out?

Note: Under system report WiFi I can see the Locale is set to Unknown and the Country Code is set to XT. I've also not managed to get 5ghz working either

Update: I solved it cus I found a link to a teminal code that seemed to do it for me. I now have everything working, just troubleshooting a bit of bluetooth connection problems where it sometimes wont pair to anything.

Hi, I am right now working on driving the BCM94352HMB and my USB shows BCM20702A0 while the bluetooth shows BCM20702A3 in the system report, so I want to know which kext I should use, A0 or A3? and whether the link could be sent for reference. I am totally brand new with the installation and look forward to your reply. Thanks a lot in advance.
