Anyways back to topic...
@RehabMan: I've dd'd my T430s 10.10.5 using Ubuntu... Now I'm getting a bit closer:

L4YPyu.jpg

This is without injected kexts & cache, safemode is similar...

The message means the version of OS X you're trying to boot does not support the SMBIOS you're trying to use.
Which SMBIOS is it? What version of OS X? And from where did you download OS X?

Alright fine. Lets just get graphics working, ok? None of the other stuff, if I can get the GRAPHICS and TRACKPAD/KEYBOARD working I can get everything else working.

Implementing power management is not difficult, and should probably be done before working on QE.
As for QE, you should try both with and without FakePCIID and always boot without caches (FakePCIID needs to load before the QE driver, and that may not happen if the QE driver is not in cache, but FakePCIID is).

Ok, I am back to square one. I am still having the same issue with Quartz Extreme. I've tried not injecting the platform-id, I've tried Rehab's kexts too. i did try the VRAM patch, but I am at 64MB according to my bios. @mircsicz, I only got mine to boot with the drivers I linked. Nothing else works, but I can't read into your situation :(

DVMT-prealloc is a framebuffer thing (CI)... as far as I know not significant for QE.

Ok I do have power management, I did your tip with the iMac17,1 and it boots :). I tested, and I see the values for the Power Management (With AppleIntelInfo.kext) so I believe it works.

I only did the VRAM bypass to eliminate factors, since I really have no idea what could be causing. I've gotten to the point where it boots, and is only accessible via VNC (which reports all the VRAM and correct GPU). Really, this is the last major issue I'm having.

Fully investigate post #85 suggestions.

Ok, I did all of the variables (I do think so!):

There are more ig-platform-id values than the ones you tried.

Not sure what you mean by "IMEI Fix". Intel MEI must be named IMEI... it is pointless to try any other name.

By platform values, you mean for just the HD515 or all the Skylake platform values in general? Also, the IMEI fix is the patch in your config (accessed in clover via 'DSDT tables fix')

All Skylake ig-platform-id values. Each id is not necessarily tied to a particular graphics device.

IMEI rename should always be enabled (OS X doesn't like the Skylake usual of HECI or MEI).

Ok, I did all of these with IMEI rename enabled:

I still have yet to do the one without the kexts, but I am curious about 0x19130001...

Why is IntelBacklight.kext loading? You have not patched ACPI for backlight control yet, right?
