PS. OSx disk gets so easily damaged...

Usually a problem if you try to mount HFS+ in windows, or other drivers as such
Mounting and unmounting can cause errors which lead to drive corruption
Best thing to do is to boot via clover into the recovery partition (if possible) and run disk utility/first aid
Often times the drive ends up unmounted.
But like Rehabman said, I've personally never had this issue on a windows mac dual boot

I use only Apple's readonly bootcamp drivers for HFS+ in Windows. No danger of corruption there as it is readonly.

Other software allows read/write, and tends to cause corruption. Can't be trusted.

Well after many days of trial and error I am kinda dissapointed. Since I can't patch BIOS 3.03 it's not possible to boot El Capitan from my HD. I can boot it through the installation USB and Clover (it runs smooth except sound) but not from HD by itself. At some point where the line under the apple completes and the login screen should appear, a screen flickering starts, for a moment the El Capitan image appears scaled (huge like in small resolution) and then black screen, and stop...
I have to stop trying until a new solution comes up for this version of BIOS because truth be told, I am reluctant downgrading my brand new laptop to a BIOS version which was suitable for a model one or two years ago...
From Lenovo site, some expert can download the BIOS http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/pro...ops/y50-70-notebook-lenovo/downloads/ds100998 and study it to find some solution. Personally, I can't do that, I don't have thw knowledge to do it...

Thanks everyone for your marvellous effort, I 'll keep watching this thread.

Downgrade BIOS per post #1, set DVMT-prealloc, then update BIOS. It is reported that the DVMT-prealloc value set with older BIOS sticks after updating the BIOS.

Is there any download link for older BIOS ?
Needless to say that from Windows10 Control Panel it seems that this value is set to 128MB but as you mentioned that doesn't mean anything...
Do you know after BIOS downgrading /upgrading what happens to Windows Product serial number ? Not that it is any big issue, but just out of curiosity...

Windows10 Control Panel is wrong, it's not reliable to determine DMVT
Just google for 1.09. I think the last version possible is 1.14???? Correct me someone if I'm wrong on that.
Then update to 3.0.3 or whatever is the newest version

The Windows control panel display of dedicated memory and the hackintosh myths surrounding it are covered in the FAQ.

It won't be affected.

Hello, ReHabMan.

An HDMI-Audio on the issue.

I was in your editing config connect HDMI, the laptop will direct black and then restart the cycle has been.

Then I put your original ID from 8086,9c43 modify 8680,8c4b to use HDMI. But I can not control the volume. System - Audio - output - HDMI display device does not output the selected control.

So I just can not control the volume, but the sound can be transmitted out.

And I just changed the ID if there are no changes to other related projects caused by this problem.
8086,8c4b is my motherboard ID is also present in support of native AppleLPC.kext support table.
