No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

I've been trying to get sound to work for days. I extracted the 887 kext from the latest Multibeast and it was installed successfully to the System/Library/Extension folder. I executed the audio_cloverALC-110.command and it found the 887 kext and successfully patched the AppleHDA.kext. When I rebooted I have the similar problem to the above poster. I can adjust the volume on the desktop, I go to the Services and Sound, and it appears that the mod worked in that I can select different output lines, however, I do not get sound from the speakers. I've tried the audio_realtekALC-110.commandand the 887 legacy kext. I've tried various combinations of 887, 887 legacy, audio_realtekALC-110.command, and audio_realtekALC-110.command, replacing the AppleHDA.kext with the original copy during each patch attempt. So far no luck. What else should I be looking at or is my setup too old for El Capitan?

Luck has nothing to do with working audio. Not one of the methods you used above will result in working audio. Suggestion; pick one method and execute each step exactly. All methods required native AppleHDA.kext. Methods: Post #1, Realtek ALC AppleHDA; use 887 Legacy.

Hello, my audio inputs don't work. I tried microphone on rear input, on front input and theres no input signal on both. When i boot to Windows it works normally.

Asus Maximus VII Impact, BIOS 3003, i7 4790K, GeForce GTX 970
Clover 3330
El Capitan 10.11.2
For audio I'm using - audio_cloverALC-110.command
Audio Layout ID 2

Thanks for help.

Front panel problem or mic problem.
Mic on rear input does not work as the pink becomes orange output with Audio ID: 2.

Hmm, but under Windows Mic on front panel works without problem. Strange. What you have set in BIOS for Front panel - HD audio or legacy AC97?

One choice, HD Audio; OS X does not support AC97.

Yeah, I also thought so... so you are using "audio_cloverALC-110.command", Audio ID: 2 and Mic on Front input is OK. What can i have set differently than you? Any idea?
