Hi guys, i have a short question. In my PC i have one SSD for for Yosemite, one HDD for data and stuff, and i want to install El Capitan on second SSD, should i unplug other drives before installation? Will installing El Capitan with all drives pluged to motherboard "break" something (chameleon bootloader on Yosemite SSD, etc)?

From a data management point of view, its always better to disconnect any drives that are not needed for an installation, and then reconnect them after.

If I was looking for a dual install, I would seriously consider using the first SSD with 2 partitions, one for each OS and leave the second as a data only drive, if that was a possibility.

Thanks for your response! I want to have these systems on different SSDs, because after getting everything working with El Capitan i want to remove Yosemite and install Windows 8.1, but now Yosemite is my only working system so i don't want to lose it :D But if i disconnect all my other drives, there wont be a problem if i dont install rc scripts (one of Clover installer option) on them while setting up Clover on El Capitan?

Greetings, I have HP Pavilion 15-p252nu i5 laptop on which I've successfully installed El Capitan using this guide and cpus=1 nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=No -f PCIRootUID=1 flags.
My problem is that my keyboard, track pad, Wi-Fi, Ethernet cable and my NVIDIA GeForce 840M are not working at all. My screen is perfectly detected 1366x768 by
Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 and my USB mouse does work as well, should I wait for MultiBeast 8.0 or I need kexts? I've searched for days and I couldn't find anything, any help is appreciated, thanks!
My drivers.
