Do you think the Intel 4600HD supports Metal?

The OS still isn't as smooth as how Apple said it would be.

If you mean hackintosh experience, it's still not 100% of a real mac
El Capitan isn't perfect, but it's pretty nice for every day purposes, similar to Yosemite
I have no idea whether it will support metal. If it does, it would imagine it doesn't do it perfectly
I use the OS for everyday video watching, audio editing, etc, and it works fine just to give you something to compare to

as i mentioned i already read that and could not understand a word.
can you please be more specific of how to fix it

You'll need to be more specific about what you don't understand.

The guide has specific patch recommendations for the EC query patches.

You can look at ~/Projects/y50.git/patches/keyboard.txt to find the already determined EC query patches. Method names will be the same, content of the patch different.

The touch pad randomly does not respond sometimes after sleep.

The cursor can be controlled, but tap the and click doesn't respond.

I have a USB wireless mouse plugged in all the time, could that be the problem?

Which trackpad do you have?

It could. Test without.

Hey Rehabman,
I took a bit more time to do some testing with the Fn hotkeys
The F6 touchpad disable works natively because it seems to be a bios function on the Y50
Seems like after the ACPI patch for the brightness keys and the keyboard remapping, the F6 press no longer sends that signal to the bios to disable
I'm looking more into the specifics to see how to patch
But, do you think it's possible to figure out what was patched by ACPI and the remapping to reverse it for the Fn keys that work natively?

More likely it depends on whether what Windows version is detected in the EC/DSDT.

It would be easy for you to test which patch causes the native code to stop by applying individual DSDT patches selectively.

USB wireless mouses are odd
I have a logitec M570 and for some odd reason, mac detects it as a non-removable, hence not triggering the disable for touchpad
Wonder if the non-removable flag is in place for you as well causing the issue
