So far I've been doing fine with my Hack for nearly a year doing coding, cannot be THAT bad ;)

its not bad and coding probably don't need much but to have a heading every time you need to update the OS is not worth it for work

if you need OSX for work just buy macbook
a hackintosh is a hackintosh and limited at the end

the performance is ok but the Nvidia card is disabled and the HD4600 barley holding it (it works ok when there isnt many icons but if you animate a folder with lots of icons it wont be smooth)

hackintosh is fun for home use if you need real work done buy a mac

If you need graphical functions, then definitely go for the Mac
El Capitan is a bit better than Yosemite on the 4600, which is nice. Less lag and all

hi for more functions of trackpad i installed the elen trackpad driver from here
http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index....and-synaptics-smart-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/

i installed the SmartTouchpad_v4.4.5_64bit
Now my trackpad works excellently with all features OSX has to offer but the only problem is that the brightness keys dont work.
Volume keys still works though.

i tried to follow your guide from the first page but it looks like its too technical for me
can you tell me in simple words what i can do to get back the brightness keys

Brightness key patching for ELAN is described in the guide linked from post #1.

Hello!

I would like to ask the following:
i format my hdd to guid partition, and i would like to create 3 different part;
Windows 10
os x yosemite
data partition

unfortunately i cant do this to work. I tried everything. I could only do Windows and os x partition, but the data doesnt work.

is there any way to create a data partition which i can use on both os?

Thank you,
teckdeck

OS X can read NTFS volumes (not write them).
Windows can read HFS+ volumes (not write them) if you have the Apple BootCamp HFS+ drivers installed.

I think there's a reason Apple does not do read/write, but there is 3rd party software available (MacDrive, Tuxera). I don't recommend using them due to reliability issues.

OS X can read/write FAT32 reliably. But FAT32 has some file size limitations...

OS X can read/write exFAT which solves the files size limits, but there are reports it is not reliable.

Then still remain, i buy an external hard drive and install only os x for this?

Solution all depends on your needs. In many cases, readonly sharing is adequate. I use a file server to share large read/write data.

I have set it up exactly as you want it but with El Capitan
Install Windows first. Then partition your data partition and your mac os x partition (I suggest 100 GB minimum)
Set your Data partition as NTFS for read only, or ExFAT if you want read and write
Once that's all done, use your USB to install Yosemite, and oob it will detect the 2 other partitions
For windows to detect the mac partition, you will need the bootcamp driver for read, or third party drivers to write (I've tried a few, they work nice)
You then need to set up clover to detect both windows and mac, so that can be trickier, but people have explained how to do it here and other threads as well!

Do you think the Intel 4600HD supports Metal?

The OS still isn't as smooth as how Apple said it would be.
