Depends on details.

Collect the following information so we can determine how similar Q-series to j/k:
- audio codec dump from Linux
- native ACPI files (you can use Linux, patchmatic -extract as in this guide, or Clover F4)
- 'lspci -nn' output from Linux Terminal

Codec dump is not for onboard (it is for Intel HDMI).

I ran the ACPI files through the patcher and it was successful... so likely match.

But need to check codec dump for onboard audio.

It is 10ec:0290 (Realtek ALC290).

Follow the guide as if your laptop was a K-series.

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

I cannot predict the future. You'll have to try it.

We don't even know if the guide works for your laptop. There could be other differences unaccounted for.
