Hi.
I'm using my ASUS TP550LD (Specs in signature) with ALC233.
I dump the codec and then I modify the verbs, Platforms.xml, and the layout28.xml until I get the sound.
What did I get after a mod:
Speaker - OK
Jack Sense - OK
Microphone - OK (It can record!)
Audio after Wake - OK
Headphone - Sound Output OK, Bad Quality
But only this 1 problem with the Headphone.
If I plugged in my headphone, it gives output but I can't hear the sound clearly.
Another condition:
If I slide the balance slider to left/right (max) it gives clear sound. But it still gives output on both side.
If I slide the balance slider to middle, it sounds like the Right side and the Left side are combined into one and create like karaoke mode.
Have tried Mirone's AppleHDA still giving the same result. Haven't tested toleda's.
Any help I appreciate it.
