nice! does iMessage work? Did you have to generate a different serial#?
iMessage seems OK (but I don't use it), iCloud also.
And yes for the SerialNumber (you can have a look here to generate it)

Just a quick update.
I noticed on latest versions that audio patching may fail based on an item in the patching plist. So for latest audio here is an updated PatchingAppleHDA folder.
In the folder you'll find CodecCommander.kext and the usual other stuff.
Usage:
Open Terminal
Type: "Cd" (without quotes) and a space and then drag the PatchingAppleHDA folder into the terminal window and hit Enter
Then drag the shell script 'patch_hda.sh' into the terminal window and hit Enter again.
This will generate a new kext AppleHDA_ALC283.
Use Kext Wizard to install the new kext and the CodeCommander.kext into System/Library/Extensions.
Restart.

This (as long as you have the right things in your clover boot plist) will give you audio in and out.

PS Sorry I don't come back here more often. Work commitments mean I have to give less time to this, but whenever I find my own build needs a tweak I will be back to tweak the guide....at the moment i can say I am happy with my NUC build as everything is working as it should with all features functional 100% and for some reason the long 'hang' I had before prior to the Clover screen has cured itself with no input from me....

NOTE: POST 262 UPDATED WITH A FULL NEW "HASWELL NUC ESSENTIALS" FOLDER AND UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOSEMITE TO INCORPORATE ALL CHANGES TO BRING UP TO DATE WITH AUDIO/LOGO AND 5GHZ WIFI FIXES.

I have done all of this and I don't have any kind of audio. How could you help me? What information do you need?
