HP Probook Installer Clover Edition

Hi everybody! It seems that clover configurator can't open config generated by latest pbice.

Not sure if this is the right place to report this, or which of the 2 tools is the issue, but I can't open the config.plist generated by the latest PBIC with clover configurator either. The previous PBIC version works fine; but I did a new install with the latest PBIC today, and encountered this problem.

If there's a better place to post this, please let me know.

Got a free plist editor, Pref Setter. Edits are easy but still, no right ram reading. Could it be the former TextEdit edit though it looks clean?

Did you turn off XMPDetect? Do you have the latest BIOS?

Report it to the CC developer. I've given up on CC... and just use Xcode.

Open config.plist in Xcode. If there is an issue, then it is a problem in PBI. If not, bug lies in CC.

Thanks RehabMan,

I have F.42 and will try update to F.50. If I can manage to open that bios spxxxx.exe file on other windows machine, is it ok if I only extract the bin file and work it from there? With the config list I set xmpdetect off and back on, but it still shows 1333. I've looked for that on the forum and the default XMPDetect on Yes seems the choice to be

The BIOS update .EXE can be used to create a USB.

I'm out of ideas for you on your memory problem. You should look at your Clover bootlog for more info. You can set the configuration manually. Read the Clover wiki.

Thanks RehabMan,

Will try F.50 and tell what's what. One more thing. Does BIOS update work with a DSDT repatch, just like with the basic probook installer?

"1. Remove /Extra/dsdt.aml. If you have a high-resolution screen, install Mini-SSDT-DualLink.aml to /Extra/ssdt-1.aml. Then reboot. After reboot, you are running without a DSDT (no audio, WiFi, battery, etc)
2. Run ProBook Installer and select only the DSDT options you did before in step 14.
3. Allow the ProBook Installer to create your DSDT, then reboot."
