@Solow, I'm guessing booting with the -x flag leaves your system semi-functional? iIe, no bluetooth, no spotlight?

@Anyone, Am I right in thinking that Multibeast should install the appropriate kexts for getting the machine to subsequently boot without -x​?

yes. The question is you have to boot the installer to install mac. You could load additional kext in later post-installtion multi beast configuration.
