The current problem is that there are no speakers and only the headphones work

What layout ID are you using? Have you checked through all applicable layouts? Should be 11, 13, and 56 (I think). Try all three with a reboot each time

EDIT - While not listed on the supported list, someone else with a Xiaomi device and ALC256 reported that theirs was working with layout ID 22. Might not work, but worth a go.
