Hi guys,

finally i got 10.9.1 working with a patched kernel (http://www.osx86.net/files/download/3563-109-gm-ivy-bridge-e-kernel/). It boots with onboard VGA, so i installed all kext via Multibeast. I only installed:

- 3rd Party SATA
- FakeSMC (latest)
- Intel Ethernet
- SmBios = MacPro 3,1

After switching from onboard VGA to a Nvidia card, the system hangs up. Maybe it's the FakeSMC.... check screenshot:

How can i fix this?

Onboard VGA jumper disabled.

With 660ti -> GraphicsEnabler=No -> It hangs at PCI configuration begin:

If i type:
-v npci=0x2000/3000 GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0/1 -> it hangs at "unsupported CPU"

With 285 -> GraphicsEnabler=Yes -> Looks like a defect resolution?

In multibeast, did you include the option to patch the applertc ?

I patched the appleRTC via Multibeast now.... but same problem....

Edit:

Maybe the problem is a setting in Multibeast, heres my system:

• Asus Z9PE W8 -> BIOS 5304
• CPU: 1x E5-2680v2 10x 2,8 Ghz
• 32 GB (4x8) Kingston ECC Ram
• HDD to test: 500GB Sata HDD from Seagate -> Sata Port 1 (i will copy it later on a SSD)
• Onboard VGA 1024x768 (working)

I cant install:

• Nvidia GTX 660 TI 2GB
• Nvidia GTX 285 1,5GB
• Nvidia GTX 770 4GB

Now i have installed a fresh 10.9.1 to a new 500GB HDD. Changed mach_kerlel, then installed Musltibeast -> EASY Beast.

I have this working with 10.9.1 and nvidia graphics.
Used graphics enabler yes. system id 5,1. Will share settings soon.

Please only post if you got something new! Your system works because you maybe own a v1 Xeon + an older Bios. Please check my whole system... and if you own exactly the same, you could be helpful... sorry for my rough answer, but only dropping a line with "my system is running" doesnt help any others.

Hi.
I have the same config and everything was good before 10.9.2 update.
Did anybody updated to 10.9.2 already?
I ve got strange mouse lags and system slow down after this update.
