Nice machine... short question. Don't you have to use ECC and registered Ram on a XEON board? I see you use "only" Corsair desktop ram...

I want to build an equal hack, but only 12-core:

- CPU: 2x Intel Xeon E5-1650, 6x 3.20GHz, Sockel-2011
- Mainboard: ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS Dual LGA 2011
- DDR: 32 GB Ram
- SSD for OSX: 1x 256 GB SSD Samsung 840 Pro
- SSD to work: 3x 256GB Samsung 840 Pro (Raid-0)
- 2x GTX 680 4GB
- Power Supply: 850W beQuiet


Whats the best working GTX680 so far? I want to use an EVGA with 4GB GDDR.

You don't have to use ECC... I needed more ram cheaper versus less more expensive for the programs I use. Best video cards are EVGA GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB edition.

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to try the Xeon drivers from Mavericks yet?
Would be great to have Turbo boost working...
 
My problem with 10.8.5 Update is on my Graphic Card, I think so...

ATi Radeon HD 7870. I know, I know....

- Previous (10.8.4) Successful Boot & Login with FBRotate Trick.

- Now (10.8.5), Only Successful Boot (Bypass Boot Logo) with Grey Screen (No Mouse & Login)

Does FBRotate work with 10.8.5?

Please I need help 'cause it's my Workstation Computer.
My Country stopped selling MacPro a few months ago, So I built this by myself. I had only 1 choice.

Of course I had a Backup HDD, but I have to do this Update sometime.
 
Does your USB3 finally work?
