Just got confirmed that Haswell is in the new Macbook Air. It's being shipped today, so hopefully Haswell hackintosh support on the vanilla kernel will be along shortly.
Does HD5000 on new Airs mean that hackintoshes with a haswell processor will be possible? Plus I'd love it if i could run ML on a new haswell hackintosh.
So now everything connects with thunderbolt or usb3? No more PCI(e)? Hardware manufacturers can - once again - thank Apple for forcefully outdating a ****load of gear.
Looks like maybe going back to the bad old days of only a few graphics cards being OS X compatible again.....if everything in the Mac Pro connects to the single central heatsink then we may see less generous support for new GPUs. Unless of course they secretly want to encourage hacks.
