Hi guys
I'm a long time hackintosher. And for a long time now I have a stable machine.
The current built is:
ML 10.8.5 iMac 12.2
Z77x-ud5h
I7-2600k
Powercolor hd6870
Corsiar 8gb 1600
120gb ssd -osx
500gb - win7
2x640gb hdd's
Everything is working 100%
Recently I got a ATV3
I wanted to mirror to the tv without having to install a third party software (air parrot)..
The setup for that was simple - I just connected the monitor to the integrated DVI port and set in BIOS integrated first.
Airplay is working like a charm!
In about this mac under graphics I can see hd3000 and the hd6870.
My question is -
How do I know if my hack uses the discrete gpu if the monitor is connected to the integrated gpu?
The hd3000 and AirPlay only works when the monitor is connected to it.
From what I read on other posts , gpu switching is not working on hackintosh.
Does anyone know how to setup this correctly so I can enjoy both worlds?
