thx. but i don't use custom ssdt. i'm using c-p-states generated by chimera. so what i'm gonna do?

You cannot implement Ivy PM without a custom SSDT.

Next step for me to try is the VGA out. I tried using HDMI to VGA cable on projectors but it does not seem to be working (might be the cables?)

Here's what inside my Capri.kext:
Code:
03 00 66 01 01 02 04 02 00 00 00 04 <==my HD4000, with 4 output
00 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 10 07 00 00
10 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 <==LVDS
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00 <==DVI/HDMI
03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 <==DVI/HDMI
04 06 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00 <==DVI/HDMI

first attempt was editing the last DVI/HDMI with a VGA hex with hexfiend but ends up crashing the machine when connecting HDMI

Still looking around for some more information :crazy:

Hello, I've the same Thinkpad as you with almost the same hardware config.
I've tried to install 10.8.4 on my laptop once, but I end up failing to get the HD4000 graphics work, so I've reinstalled win 8.

I read this post, and I found you post this file:

DSDT patched with the o3a_HDMI patch from probook (+ original dsdt.dsl)

I wonder if this file will work on thinkpad e130? (the name was a bit confusing..i do not know if you mean it is the dsdt for a HP probook laptop..)

Thanks in advance. I'm going to try to install os x 10.9 on my E130 in a few days.

(My English is not so good, so thanks if you can help me get my OS X 10.9 work)

See the patches here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch

Which one of the HD4000 you use depends on the resolution of your screen.
