WindowServer Service only ran for 0 seconds

I'm trying direct update from 10.12.4 using Clover. It won't boot to installer.

My setup:
Mobo: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING (Clover)
CPU: i5-6500
GPU: Intel HD 530

What I've tried so far:
- dropped MATS and DMAR tables
- installed IntelGraphicsFixup.kext + Lilu.kext

Clover config attached.

Got the same issue, by any chance can you tell me how much free space you have on your boot drive and what the brand of your SSD is ?

40 gigs of free space, it's a Transcend

Ok, mine is a Kingston so I guess it's not the issue. I had about the same free space as you so I freed over 50Go but it didn't change anything either.

I figured it out. In clover boot menu, in options I untick Nvidia inject.

Thanks for the info, I indeed suppose it's linked to the GPU because the behaviour slightly changed when I used nv_disable=1 (the wheel appeared on the progress bar, but it still stopped). Unfortunately Nvidia inject already isn't ticked in my boot options T_T

I solved this by enabling my Intel graphics and removing my GPU during the install.

Same issue. Going to try installing with my nvidia card removed as well.

WindowServer uses library validation now, and it won't load with kext modifications present, including Lilu, it's why all the nvidia graphics users need https://github.com/mologie/NVWebDriverLibValFix

If that doesn't work can try the more aggressive https://github.com/mologie/macos-disable-library-validation maybe but that could have some very neg side effects too. no idea how windowserver would react to that.
