For the record, I managed to get through this error by setting the bios GPU setting configuration from "auto" to "discrete graphics" in my zbook g3 (hd530+ and firepro w5170m). Btw it's not a solution, just a temporary workaround to let me go through the installation

Yes, for laptops that have the ability to disable dual-GPU in some fashion, that is a solution, but not all laptops have this option.

What are you referring to?
Use Xcode or PlistEdit Pro to edit your config.plist.
