Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

I followed that guide to create the installer, and have read the FAQ. The requested CLOVER zip is attached to the original post. The attatched error occurs when attempting to boot the installer in verbose mode, attempting to boot without verbose mode results in the loading bar filling slightly past halfway, before freezing until I manually power down the laptop.

Your Clover folder (that you attached) shows you didn't follow the guide (Clover/kexts not per guide).

Also, keep in mind that you will probably need to keep the Nvidia drivers from loading.

OK, I removed the kexts that were not mentioned in the guide. However, the issue still persists. The new .zip is attached. Do I need to use a Linux Live CD to execute the steps outlined in the second link provided?

You forgot about:

You extract native ACPI with F4 in Clover (files written to ACPI/origin).
It is covered in the main ACPI patching guide.

Also added a simplified method using AddProperties that is quite easy to apply (see first link).

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Hello Rehabman,

I'm on the process of installing High Sierra.
My laptop (Dell) with AMD switchable graphics exhibit the same problem as the OP.
I can see that the link you gave is only for Nvidia GPU.
Can you help me create an AMD version of the patch? Or is it not necessary to do so?

Thank you very much.
Here are my clover files, btw:
