Hi all,
I have my hackintosh up and running (Mojave) with a Fenvi t919 connected to PCIEX1 on my asus z370-a ii mobo.
wifi, handoff, airdrop (haven't tried bluetooth because i'm using a seperate dongle for that) etc worked out of the box with the fenvi, I had to use rehabman's Intel card ethernet patch to make ethernet appear in system report.
the thing is - i'm having irregular slow speeds connected to wifi (both 5ghz and 2.4ghz) and some problems loading web pages as well. it's not a distance issue as I have my laptop right next to where my hackintosh is and it has no speed problems.
moreover, since I first connected to wifi on the hackintosh, my Fios router started having weird and random disconnects which i've discussed with tech support.
they're sending in a router replacement but i'm not sure how to verify that the hackintosh isn't the one causing the problem due to some kind of a hardware clash since I haven't had problems with the router on other computers before.
is there a wifi patch I can use even though everything seems to work?
would appreciate any thoughts.
attaching wifi and ethernet details from system report.
