Why are MSI GPU's not included in the list?

Hello guys.

I'm looking into building a new workstation. I can get MSI GPU's a lot cheaper than other brands in South Africa ( I'm looking at the MSI Geforce 1060 3Gb).

So my question is, can I consider it, or should I stay away?

I guess you'll only know for certain if somebody else has tried that specific model. Having said that, I'm running an MSI GTX1070 and it works just fine.

Thanks csoren. Did you have any trouble installing it? Did you have to do anything extra to get it to work properly? I'm still very much on the fence. Building a system for After Effects, so I'm trying to get the best performance for my budget. Bigger CPU / smaller GPU or bigger GPU / smaller CPU.

No nothing special, installing the NVidia web drivers was all I had to do.

MSI will work just as well as Gigabyte or EVGA. We can only put so many cards in the guide. We can't include every single one that works. The Buyer's Guide is too large already.
