White circle with slash on desktop installation

Hello, community.

Beforehand, I would like to thank you in advance for you help and advice.

The desktop that I am using for this build is the dell optiplex 980 sff (stock)

So, I've followed the instructions in this thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/

I have successfully done the above and have managed to do the whole of step 2. I have also changed bios settings appropriate to the machine above.

The real problem is when I choose too boot from usb, the apple logo with a bar will appear, however half way through the progress bar a circle with a slash appears and will stay like that until manually shutdown.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Look in the bottom left corner of the screen, if it says "still waiting for root device" use the forum Search tool to look for that.

Thanks I booted into verbose mode and could infact see "still waiting for root device". I will check the forums for further help
