Want my ipad to serve as a remote to my customac

Hi to all,

I want my ipad to be used as a logic 9 remote that is installed on my customac running on snowleopard 10.6.8. I'm not a pro in networking. I use a p7p55d and all my pci and pcie ports are taken. I only have usb ports free. Can someone could confirm that an ASUS USB-N13 would do the job and that the installation would be easy? Will it be fast enough to avoid latency ?

ASUS USB-N13 with 10.6.8

I made a research and unfortunately haven't found any answer. I will simplify my question : is there someone who uses the ASUS USB-N13 under OSX 10.6.8 ?

I tried using Logic Remote on my iPad which was released for Logic Pro X and GarageBand

i have tried to use Logic Remote on GarageBand '11 ver 6.0.5 under Mountain Lion 10.8.5 but no joy so far as it cannot see a mac on the same wifi network ?

Has anybody had success with the Logic Remote iPad app on their Hackintosh ??
