Thank you so much for the pointers! I re-read the GPIO pinning guide more slowly and was able to successfully complete all the steps. I'm on Sierra 10.12..6

My I2C ELAN1000 trackpad works on VoodooI2C v2.0.1 with VoodooI2CELAN.

My specs are just the same as yours, I made the proper changes and applied the patches to the DSDT.dsl - except Windows 10 since DSDT was already patched with @RehabMan's Windows 8 patch for battery and USB. I'm on VoodooI2C v2.0.1 and High Sierra 10.13.3
I checked and checked again.

But I have this result:

I am attaching the proper files for you to help me out. Thanks in advance.

Krennn, GPIO Pinning start with determine your device's ACPI ID in Windows. Do you have this ACPI ID?

On some Laptops the Bios IOInterruptSpecifiers is wrong.
See my ASUS Zenbook XU330UAK. It shows there 6D.
This results in 0x55.
With 0x55 I get Trackpad Settings but it does not work.
Then I test different numbers. At the end it was 0x51.
This number give me trackpad settings and working trackpad very harmonious and
multi gesture.
Thank you anonymous-writer for this hint! I tried 2 weeks without success on my ASUS UX410UQK, it has device ETPD and Pin 6D. With 0x55 i got trackpad settings but it don't work too. With 0x17 my trackpad works now!

Already mentioned in the FAQ if you look closely.
Quoting from the FAQ :-
Note that (in very rare cases), the corresponding GPIO hexadecimal pin will not work. In this case, you can try some of the common values such as 0x17, 0x1B, 0x34 and 0x55.
