VisonTek has produced a true Single Slot graphics card that is capable of running macOS Sierra-Catalina for the SFF market. The size of this card is about the size of a GT210, GT710 with a very small single fan. It has 4 Mini Displayports and can handle 4k. This has been a long awaited card for the "niche" miniITX build Hackintosh community.

Here’s a comparison of my MSI GT710 next to the RX560

The heat shield is about 1/8” higher than the GT710.

The Card is 6 3/4" long by 2 3/4 wide by 3/4" high.

It comes with an extra IO Plate for standard ATX cases, (2) mini DP to DISPLAYPORT cable adapters and (2) mini DP to DVI cable adapters. The cables are beefy and are 8 1/2" long, together they weigh more than the card. These cable adapters would run between $15-$20 US ea. So that's a $60-$80 value added to the card package.

It Has Native kexts so Web Drivers are not needed which means updates are rarely if ever a problem.

Suggested use of lilukext and Whatevergreenkext for added "compatibility" and port assignments. Add ApppleALCKext with Audio Device ID =1 and you have working Audio through Displayports.

It has 14 CUs which makes it really a RX460 refresh as the true RX560 has 16 CUs, but this little card has some impressive numbers for a Low Profile solution.

This could even be used for some 1080p gaming if you pair a quad core or better CPU with it. Look at the FPS. 75.1 !

Thanks Buddy!
Would you measure how far out in inches the heatsink protrudes out from the PCB ? The width of it, not the length.

3/4" from the bottom of the PCB to the top of the Heatsink. The heatsink is about 5/8" in total thickness. Total clearance "height" is 3/4", Width is 2 3/4", Length is 6 3/4".

So the total thickness is a hair 1/16" over the standard metal IO mounting plate. It is a single slot size.

Here are some pics of the card in my latest project. A Lenovo 110 series that came with a AMD E1 CPU. I ordered a M93p (is8MX) motherboard and a Power supply and it all fit in the old case. I still need the proper Heatsink and fan combo. This stock Intel version is not secured tightly as the holes are larger than normal Mobos. As you can see the RX560 is on top of a N900/WD8400 Atheros wifi pci card. No bending or prying needed. So it only occupies a single slot.

Thanks for this. Is the fan silent when the card is not under significant load?

Just tested, you can hear it whine a little under load. Check out the small videos it reports drawing 90+ watts in Luxmark and 100 in Valley, don't know if that's accurate.

Interesting but quite pricey in Canada (Amazon). I'll keep my GT710...
