Ok, hopefully this will help someone out, but very strange. I used a PS2 keyboard, and it actually now has the Apple Logo after "F5" on the keyboard. We'll see how it works after this.

DOH. Spoke too soon. Got to the Grey Apple, but got no farther. It keeps rebooting after the grey apple pops up, and the spinner appears. About 20 sex to 1 min into it.

I flashed my Gigabyte P55a UD4P bios to f11 as it says on the chart you have, but I couldn't get it to flash with the downloaded DSDT-GA-P55A-UD4P.aml it doesn't recognize this as a flash..... What is a .aml file, and how do I get it to work on this bios?

I get through to the iBoot screen, and everything seems fine, but after I F5 and hit enter (with or without -x) it goes straight to the apple load screen with a cancel sign the one around a cigarette with the line through it on a no smoking sign.

I assume that I have to either flash the bios with the download from your site, or the one from catari.net, but the qflash in the bios only recognized the F11 from the Gigabyte site.

Am I missing a process before doing the iBoot?

Portymen,
6 minutes is way too much...
As you have the same hardware as I do, please check my blog for detailed instructions...

Also, are you using USB keyboard and mouse ?
Did you enable "USB Legacy function" in your BIOS ?

Could you send me a direct link for my BIOS setting?

About your question, I use USB keyboard and USB mouse.

And can you specify in more detail in what BIOS menu is the item "USB Legacy function"?

Wath BIOS revision are you referring to?

Thanks

The "DRAM Voltage= 1.3V" is only for the G.Skill Eco, so unless this is your RAM, leave the
Voltage at Normal or Auto.

All the rest looks OK to me.

Good Luck !
