USB 3.0 Freeze in Yosemite

Try to use the Multibeast USB generic Kext, even if not necessary.

Worked for me in terms of installing the Multibeast USB generic Kext.

I had an external USB 2.0 drive. I was getting freezes after upgrading to 10.10.4.

I was having issues with my Pro Tools Dongle on my 3.0 front port that connects to the motherboard header, I used Multibeast and loaded the GenericUSBXHCI.kext listed as Universal USB 3.0 under miscellaneous. Hit Run and then used Kext Wizard to repair permissions and rebuilt cache, rebooted and now when i plug my Dongle in a second time, IT DOESN'T FREEZE ANYMORE, ofcourse with the correct SMBIOS (14.2) i'm using the GA-Z97X-UD7 TH w/ 32 gigs, gtx 960. Glad its behaving correctly now, all hope restored!!
