USB 3.0 - 10.8.3 Mountain Lion Solutions

I know that we have beat this to death. but is there any possible solution to what seems a simple fix for USB 3.0?

I have had it working perfectly for the record using the three kext changes. I would like to simply just use the PXHCD.kext only. Is there anyone out there who has figured this out without having to rollback the IOUSBFamily and MassStorage.kexts. If my drive is showing up in the profiler but not on the desktop, sounds logical that we are very close, one tick mark away really.

I am using my native motherboard USB 3.0 ports (NEC chip), don't want to buy a card, that's the point.

Anything on the horizon, in the future?


Remember, I know how to get it working, but that breaks other things and is a little buggy in the console, so please don't respond with, "Read this Post...."

I have tried Zenith432s kexts. Both of them give me a kernel panic..

Could you tell me how you installed and where and what system you are on.

This is killin me.

Hmm, I've a Intel DH67BL Board. The board has the renesas usb 3.0 chip.
Simply installed the kext 1.1.4 kext with Kextwizard 3.7.10.
Maybe you did not remove the PXHCD.kext.

Hey I was just wondering if you could point me in the right direction as to what PCI card I should buy as usb 3.0 is now working and my ML system is flawless other than usb3..My mobo has no native 3.0 but i have it working on my 4530s HP laptop.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
