So I've had an awesome stable system running on 10.6.6 for the past four years as my audio production rig and it's been great. I run Logic and Ableton live aand built this so I'd have a powerful audio production machine. It has delivered - thanks to this community!
Now I'm faced with a dilemma. Dropbox just stopped supporting any Snow Leopard versions earlier than 10.6.8 so that means Dropbox integration is now broken. I use this a lot for work and drobox is essential (I pay for the pro plan).
So with many reports of 10.6.8 upgrades breaking systems with my hardware, do I risk it or skip to a new version? I have lots of 3rd party vst plugins so I'm hesitant to skip beyond Snow Leopard.
Any good guides on upgrading to 10.6.8 with similar hardware and how the issues were overcome?
