Updating on GA-Z77N-WiFi

Has anyone of you guys updated from ML by using a usb stick as TonyMac guide tells us to do? If so did you loose anything?

Love this thread by the way, great initiative!

I updated my installation of Mountain Lion with a Mavericks 10.9.2 unibeast usb-pen. So you might not call it updating, but in reality it was. All my app's, my settings and so on, were as before. Only the desktop picture has changed ;-)

Network and sound didn't work, but then I ran Multibeast, with the DSDT for the motherboard found in the DSDT download, and sound and network were back. As others have written here, Multibeast took a loooooong time, maybe 12 minutes or more, but it worked fine.

Very long boot time on "Bluetooth details" in command line, when (-v) flag is on>
and and some issues with usb
