Updated to latest version of Clover today and now my mac drive won't boot.

A question going forward now, should I just avoid updating kexts, OS & clover going forward as it seems updating clover broke my Catalina (currently 10.15.7)?
if it isn't broken, then don't fix it... :)

however, if you like to tinker, grab a usb stick and make changes/updates to that instead to test to make sure it works before you copy the efi to your system drive

a lot of peeps here have moved on to opencore rather than using a hybrid of clover/copencore

Great advice, yeah I think the switch is on the horizon but I just can't bring myself to it just yet. Maybe when I do a CPU upgrade in the near future. Again thanks for the help!
