Updated to High Sierra - Finder is Dead

Hi guys,

I just updated to high sierra (without converting my SSD to APFS) following the guide and everything looks good except the finder doesnt work anymore. When I open a folder it doesn't work, spinning wheel and finder not responding. If I force quit it/relaunch it nothing happens.

Anyone has an idea on how to fix it? I can clean re-install but if I can avoid that it would be better...

Tried to install with APFS. Same exact issue..

The Finder keeps opening and closing in a loop...

FWIW on one of the public betas I had a similar issue that seemed to be the result of a partial install. I reinstalled and the issue went away. I don't know if this will help you. You don't need to do a clean install necessarily. I updated a Sierra to each High Sierra public beta to the GM and never did a clean and it's fine.
