I rebooted and scores are much better now.

fps: 48.9
Score: 1233
Min fps: 33.0
Max fps: 74.1

I wonder what's causing the degradation in performance over time.

Maybe, because the program isn't stable yet?
Or... like on cell phones, after several days they slow down and after a reboot it will as same as when we turned on.

No this issue is not related to Unigine Heaven. I have also noticed the same problem after playing Skyrim on MacOS with my ATI HD 6870. After 2 x 4h gaming sessions without reboot, very bad performance appears on the next session and the game is lagging a lot. It seems to be a problem related to the Graphics Card RAM. When it is filled up once, the next time bad performance appears, even if the RAM seems to have been flushed between.

Who knows... maybe it's an OS X issue.

5770, FPS = 37.4 (2 days uptime), FPS=37.5 (after reboot)

Food for thought, seems OSX has a max of 60 fps? I didn't see an option for sync. Regardless, running fullscreen rather than windowed netted a 39 point boost. I ran it at default settings and at 1920x1080 to be able to match a lot of the options people did here (so we can actually compare ;) ). Regardless neato... Does seem the 560ti 448 core is better on OSX than a 6870.

1572 is pretty nice :)
