Re: UNINGINE Benchmark now compatible with OSX 10.7+

This is great news! I've been waiting a long time for an easily reproducible graphics benchmark for OS X. Cinebench seems to scale more with CPU speed than GPU power, at least with Sandy Bridge processors, and Novabench doesn't seem to be a particularly good indicator of game performance.

I'll update this post with my results as soon as I get my new build running!

How long did you let it run before you got the results screen? Mine ran for 10+ minutes and seemed to be looping but never output results.

Hexa, nice scores!

My screen is different though.

Today I benchmarked my NVIDIA ENGTX480 and AMD HD6870 graphics cards.

EDIT:

Alright, so this time I used default settings, and here are the results :

Thanks to NeoJ screenshot I was able to find why I had bad results with the HD6870 :) (around 15FPS).

The first time I benchmarked my AMD HD6870, results were very bad… I was using an old version of the Darwin Kernel 11.0.0, while the actual version under 10.7.3 is 11.3.0. So I upgraded it, and did a fresh new boot. NVIDIA ENGTX480 results were good.
I’m not sure if the issue was resolved by a reboot or if it was due to the bad Darwin Kernel version. But if you face the same issue, I advice you to reboot first, it is always better to benchmark after a fresh boot
