Unable to install to HFS+ partition and EFI partition destroyed

You mean it will create its own 200MB EFI partition separate from the 100MB one being used for Windows and Linux?

no, there is only one EFI partition in each disk
 
That may be, but I'm not able to go that route. Do you know why that 100 MB EFI partition was destoryed?

maybe best to wipe the whole hard drive?

plug it into another machine to backup your files first though

There can be multiple EFI partitions on a disk. You could have one for each operating system, but maybe this doesn't play well with macOS?

Well, I recreated the EFI partition using a linux live cd and I was able to restore grub and one of my Manjaro Linux bootloader and successfully boot into Manjaro. I'm going to restore the windows bootloader next. Then I'll image Windows and my Linux distros before doing anything else.

I can give it a try. What does this one do? Do you think it will help prevent the EFI partition from being destroyed again?
 
What about all of the partitions being grayed out? Any suggestions for that?
