I tried to do an upgrade over High Sierra and sort of got it to work.

Now I want a clean install using my new Fenvi T919 for both Wifi and BT.

I can complete the first portion of the install, but when I boot from the SSD to complete the install it stalls with only a blank medium gray screen and mouse pointer. I rebooted with verbose option. Here's the screenshot when it stalls:

After about 4 minutes, more lines appeared:
busy timeout[0], (240s): 'AppleACPICPU'
busy timeout[1], (240s) 'AppleACPICPU'
busy timeout[2], (240s) 'AppleACPICPU'

Thanks.. I've fixed that one, but having it enabled doesn't seem to have had a negative effect.

I am back to trying to do an upgrade to Mojave and ran into another problem.
After the upgrade finishes, I have no sound output devices. I ran Multibeast to reinstall the Realtek 892 and the USB fix for series 7/8/9 kext. I verified that realtecALC.kext is in /Library/Extensions.

Still no sound output devices.

For assistance with Audio you should post in the Audio forum.
Read the 'sticky' guides first and be sure to comply with the Problem Reporting instructions or you will not get any help.
