I use to run OSX on my system Asus Prime Z490 and a few months ago I switched it over to Windows to run Star Citizen to play with my daughter.

I am going to add another M2 drive in this system to install OSX back onto it, which I have on a backup drive.

Of course OSX does not support NVIDIA and I use an NVIDIA RTX 3070 in my Windows and I am wanting to use my RX 570 for OSX. I have an HDMI Bidirection switch so correct me if I am wrong but this should work going to the same monitor after I fully install OSX? Once I fully install OSX I can install the RTX 3070 in another slot and allow windows to use it as primary and OSX to use the RX 570 as its primary and then use the HDMI Switch to switch between cards before I turn on the machine.

Am I making sense? I am a retired MIS Specialist/Network Administrator and I really dislike Windows OS with a passion so I rather use OSX do to most of my work on and just use Windows to play Star Citizen with my daughter.

Yes I think it should be fine. The RX570 should work happily with macOS up to even the latest versions.
For the M2 drive just make sure it is not a Samsung NVMe running on macOS because of the potential TRIM corruption issues caused by the firmware. Something like a WD SN750 would work better.

You will need to add an SSDT to your OC EFI, to disable the Nvidia GPU in macOS.

Thank you all, will be working on the SSDT and install the M2.

Middle man I purchased a Samsung 970 EVO Plus before you posted that. I didn't have any issues with my other Samsung M2 running OSX. I will research more into the TRIM corruption issues you speak about. I will also go ahead and buy a WD SN570 in the mean time.

Okay I decided to go the SSDT route, NO GO. It did not want to work at all using Rehab's guide step by step.

So what I did was purchase a simple HDMI splitter and placed the AMD card in the first slot and the Nvidia card in the second slot and at boot I just switch to whichever OS I want to use. Works great, no need for a SSDT but then again I have a SSDT that was created for my motherboard.

For some reason the onboard cpu graphics does not want to boot correctly, it boot loops or a green color comes up on the screen. I decided not use use the onboard graphics. I only use OSX for Pro Tools (audio production), Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and building a website so the 570 is sufficient for what I want it to do. I then only use Windows for playing games with my daughter.

Luckily I always create a HDD to HDD clone using Carbon Copy and had OSX already backed up on an external HDD.

I appreciate the help.
