Using the drivers found on tp-link site everything works fine on my laptop,
wn725n v.2 on 10.13.4.

I have a usb wifi tplink tl-wn725n when I'm with the monitor open it works quietly with the drivers downloaded directly from the official site, when I close the monitor in desktop mode (I use an external monitor a keyboard and a mouse) the driver starts to go crazy tell me that the wifi password is wrong, as soon as I open the monitor everything works again. if I connect the phone in usb tethering mode it works solution?

Which version are you using? TL-WN725N V.2 or V.3? Im running v.2 on 10.12.6
