Hi

I am using the TP-Link Archer T9E AC 1900 Wifi Router based on the buyers' guide.

But the wifi works extremely slowly. It seems to be connected to the correct network, it even detects the networks quickly enough. But it's slow. While my Macbook Pro sitting on the same desk, or even much further away works extremely well. While the MBP gets speeds of 30 Mbps, the Hack pro can barely manage 1 Mbps. Even that is inconsistent.

Here's what the System report shows me on Wifi

It' weird because I had a TP Link 4700 first, and that had the same problem. So I returned that and got this. Now this one's slow too.

Did you install something for networking on mobo as well?

bump. anyone?

I'm having the exact same problem with an Archer T8e. It's extremely, extremely slow compared to its performance in Windows and, after I come back from sleep, its performance crawls down to 3Mbps or so. Found your thread looking for a solution.

Yeah, it looks like this router isn't as OOTB ready with Clover Yosemite as the buyer's guide implies.

It's not a router - It's a wireless network adapter. Maybe your actual router is the problem.

Is it possible that the router is a problem if it works well with other computers?

I seriously doubt it's my router as every other client on my network works flawlessly AND the exact same adapter works much more reliably in Windows than in OSX. We have at least two reports thus far and on my build the slowdown after coming back from sleep in El Capitan is a reproducible issue. My guess is that more people will report similar issues after El Capitan is released.

Yeah, it probably just needs kexts, and probably isn't OOTB compatible with Clover Yosemite, at least. I'll try to get the apple adapter + pci-e adapter, and see if that works. The refund window on this thing is running out fast for me, so something has to work asap.
