Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 i5-5200u, dual hdd/dualboot, where do i start?

I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241:
i5-5200u processor
intergrated graphics:
intel hd graphics 5500
total available: 4181mb
dedicated video memory: 128 mb
system video memory:0mb
shared system memory: 4053 mb
8GB DDR3L 1600MHz (upgrading to 16gb 1600 or 1866mhz soon) ram

replaced disk reader with a second hard drive bay. for installation can move the 1tb sshd intended for osx to main hdd bay, and reinstall disk reader.

I want to be able to dual boot between my current win 10 hdd and my 1tb sshd i pulled out of my old laptop (will wipe it first).

I intend to use osx just for xcode, github, related tools, and web browser for class material

I need to know everything i need to do to get it going from installation to configuration. I have setup ubuntu dual boot on a previous laptop.
