Hey there,

I followed all the instructions here:http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

But when I get to step three, I am unable to access the installation screen. I tried all of the arguments, but none of them worked. PCIRootUID gets the furthest bringing me to a screen that says "you must restart". In my BIOS I set everything to default (except boot drive which I changed to USB) but I do not know how to get hard drive in AHCI mode, or how to tell what mode it is currently in.

Also, at boot I can see that windows is installed and system reserve.
Do I have to format my hard drive? How would I go about doing it?

Here are the specs for my laptop, which I added another 2GB to: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...l-_-WebletMain-_-CCLET14ORDER-_-order&site=cc

Did you ever get this system to work?

I only ask because I am about to acquire one of these computers (with an I7 and 4GB of ram) and will be working very hard to make it my own Hackintosh Laptop.

From looking over your specs and trying to understand your problem, the only thing I can see is that you are trying to load OSX with 6 GB of RAM. This is something I have been told won't work. You must (while installing and initially loading OSX) limit your system to 4 GB or less in order for OSX to load. Then, once everything is up and running... you can add as much RAM as you wish.

I may be wrong... as I really am very new to the Hackintosh Community... but this is one of the things I learned early on.
