Toshiba Laptop reboots after kexts load

All,
I have a Toshiba E-205 S1904. I have been able to boot with iBoot using the following options:
mach_kernel busratio=17 -x -v

The install runs until the kext finish loading and my laptop reboots. I am not sure what mobo I have. I know the following about the laptop:

Intel I5 4 GIG Ram Sata Hardrive and Intel Graphics

Any help would be appreciated.

Try it without specifying mach_kernel.
Just: busratio=17 -x -v

First of all thank you for your reply. I am new at this process. I got a KP right after the kext load when I remove the Mach Kernel option. Failed to find a driver for this Platform etc etc. Any suggestions would be great.

My BIOS is AHCI. Would an older TonyMac Boot disk help with the issue? I have seen the list, and I am not sure which one to choose.

The KP has to do with ACPI. I am not sure why this is an issue. When I install Linux I have to disable ACPI on boot. Any ideas?

Do you have HPET set to 64-bit in the BIOS?

That option is not available in my BIOS........

Are your SATA controllers are set to AHCI in the BIOS?

Yep set to AHCI. I am not sure what else to change.

My laptop has HM57 Chipset. I am starting to believe this is where the issue lies. Has anyone had any success with that Chipset?
